There is a different odour in the machine	New machine has a peculiar odour, filters are clogged, or dirty dishes are kept in dishwasher for 2-3 days	A new machine has a peculiar odour that will fade out after a couple of washing. Check if the filter system is clean and clean it regularly. If you are not going to start the machine right after you have put the dishes into it, remove the remnants on the dishes and run the Prewash programme without detergent every 2 days. Do not close the door of the machine completely in order to avoid odour build up. You can also use commercially available odour removers or machine cleaners.
Rust, discoloration or surface deterioration occurs on dishes	Salt leakage exists, salty food remnants have remained on dishes for a long time, electric installation is not grounded, intensive cleansers such as bleaches are used, metal items are used for purposes other than their intended uses, silverware are made of low quality stainless steel, or kitchen utensils that are already corroded are washed in dishwasher	Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole while adding salt. Make sure that the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Run the prewash programme to remove the salt that spilled inside the machine. Pay attention to add detergent shortly before start-up of the washing. Place the dishes in a way that will not prevent the detergent dispenser lid from opening and the water going into the machine from impellers. Store powder detergent in a closed container in dry places or use tablet detergents. Clean the impellers regularly as illustrated in section Cleaning and Care.
Er vormt zich schuim in de machine	Vaat wordt met de hand gewassen met handafwasmiddel, maar niet gespoeld voordat deze in de machine wordt geplaatst, spoelglans is in de machine gemorst bij het toevoegen van spoelglans, of het deksel van het spoelglansreservoir is open gelaten	Handafwasmiddelen bevatten geen antischuimmiddel. U hoeft de vaat niet met de hand af te wassen voordat u deze in de machine plaatst. Het verwijderen van grof vuil van de vaat onder stromend water met tissue of een vork is voldoende. Zorg ervoor dat er geen spoelglans in de machine morst wanneer u deze vult. Maak eventueel gemorste spoelglans schoon met behulp van tissue/handdoek. Zorg ervoor dat het deksel van het spoelglansreservoir na het toevoegen van spoelglans gesloten is.

Op glazen blijft een vlekje achter die lijkt op melksteen en kan niet worden verwijderd bij het afvegen met de hand. Een blauwachtig / regenboogachtig uiterlijk komt voor wanneer het glas tegen het licht wordt gehouden	Er wordt te veel spoelglans gebruikt of er is corrosie op het glas ontstaan door zacht water	Verlaag de instelling van de spoelglans. Maak gemorste spoelglans schoon bij het toevoegen van spoelglans. Meet de hardheid van het toevoerwater op de juiste manier en controleer de instelling van de waterhardheid. Als uw toevoerwater zacht is (<5 dH), gebruik dan geen zout. Kies programma's die bij hogere temperaturen wassen (bijvoorbeeld 60-65°C). U kunt ook commercieel verkrijgbare glasbeschemende schoonmaakmiddelen gebruiken.
