There is a different odour in the machine	New machine has a peculiar odour, filters are clogged, or dirty dishes are kept in dishwasher for 2-3 days	A new machine has a peculiar odour which will fade out after a couple of washes. Check if the filter system is clean. Clean the filter system regularly. If you are not going to start the machine right after you have put the dishes into it, remove the remnants on the dishes and run the Prewash programme without detergent every 2 days. Do not close the door of the machine completely in order to avoid odour build up. You can also use commercially available odour removers or machine cleaners.
Detergent remains in detergent dispenser	Detergent dispenser was damp when adding detergent, detergent is added long before the washing process, opening of the detergent dispenser lid is prevented during washing, detergent is stored under unsuitable conditions, or impeller holes are clogged	Make sure that the detergent dispenser is dried well prior to filling it with detergent. Pay attention to add detergent shortly before start-up of the washing. Place the dishes in a way that will not prevent the detergent dispenser lid from opening and the water going into the machine from impellers. Store powder detergent in a closed container or use tablet detergents. Clean the impellers regularly.
Er vormt zich schuim in de machine	Vaat wordt met de hand met afwasmiddel voor handwassing gewassen maar niet gespoeld voordat deze in de machine wordt geplaatst, spoelglans is in de machine gemorst, of het deksel van het spoelglansreservoir is opengelaten	Afwasmiddelen voor handwassing bevatten geen schuimbestrijder. Het is niet nodig om de vaat voor de hand te wassen voordat deze in de machine wordt geplaatst. Het verwijderen van grove vervuiling van de vaat onder stromend water met behulp van papier of een vork is voldoende. Zorg ervoor dat spoelglans niet in de machine wordt gemorst wanneer u deze vult. Maak gemorste spoelglans schoon met behulp van papier/handdoek. Zorg ervoor dat het deksel van het spoelglansreservoir na het toevoegen van spoelglans gesloten is.

Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Make sure that the detergent dispenser lid is closed tightly after adding detergent.
